The squeeze breaks the machinery. Robinhood restricts buying. You could sell, but not buy. The crowd never forgets which direction stayed open.
The day after testifying before Congress that he likes the stock, DFV doubles down — 50,000 more shares at $38. Words and actions match.
The public run ends with 200,000 shares and no calls. The comment section has become a ritual: “If he’s still in, I’m still in.”
Three years of silence, then one screenshot: the cat is back. The final update shows 9,001,000 shares. Nobody asks why he’s in anymore. They ask what he’s signaling.
